Session on: Tissue Engineering and Bioengineering

Tissue Engineeringis to congregate the functional constructs that improve, maintain or restorethe damaged whole organs and tissues. It is to develop the three-dimensionalfunctional tissues by combining bioactive molecules, cells and scaffolds. TissueEngineering is a branch of biomedical engineering which involves research areassuch as bioengineering, material science, cell biology, molecular biology and Biomedicine.Currently scientist is working in this field to develop the engineered tissuesfor damaged organs such as liver, arteries, vascular grafts and spinal cordrepair. Hence this field gathers the engineers, researchers, scientists, surgeons and physicians to advance the new techniques to repair and replace thedamaged tissues andorgans.
