Transplantationis the process of implanting organs, tissue and cells from one place to anotheror within the same person or between the recipient or donor. When all the othertreatment has failed, transplantation isthe only option for life saving intervention. Various types of tissues can betransplanted such as cartilage, skin, bone, thymus, adrenal tissues, cornea and complex tissues torestore the extremities or face. Currently, researcher have been working onthis with new innovative strategies to reduce the transplantation failures inhumans and animals.
