Session on: Stem cells in cancer regenerative medicine

In regenerative medicine, the stem cells from various organs and tissues sources can attribute similarphenotypic characteristics such as differentiation potentials, adherence capacity, and surface marker profiles. For example, stem cells can beused for bone regeneration along with the bioactive factorsand organic biomaterials-based scaffolds like collagen and hydroxyapatite (HA)or inorganic origin materials such as PGA. Beyond it is used in regenerative medicine,a developing research field that aims to use the stem cells forcancer treatment. This rising interest is based on the well-definedsubpopulations can inhibit the cancer tumour growth by inhibiting the survivalsignalling pathways. Also stem cells will integrate into the tumour anddelivers the anticancer agents.
